Fremantle PCYC

Fremantle PCYC offer a range of venue based services in a geographical area where there a high level of disadvantage.

In late 2017 they finished in the top four in the Impact100 Fremantle grant application process for their Safe Space program, just missing out on $100,000 in funding. However, through that process with support from the Fremantle Foundation they:

  • Increased their grant writing skills and capacity

  • Increased their public speaking and pitching skills

  • Received a total of $20,000 from various Fremantle Foundation donors to run a pilot project

  • Received one on one mentoring from a highly successful not-for-profit leader to develop their project to take to other funders

In early 2018 the PCYC were successful in receiving a three year Federal grant of over $300,000.

The experience of working with the Fremantle Foundation as a grant applicant, and recipient enabled the PCYC to successfully attract other funding. As a result their internal capacity and their project delivery is greatly increased.
